Macildowie HR is pleased to be working with a large, ambitious business based in Northampton in recruiting for a HR Advisor. The role will provide HR support to the business making continuous improvements throughout the HR team and wider structure. This is a full time permanent position paying up to £30,000 depending on experience. There may be occasional travel involved in the role.
You will be responsible for providing HR and Recruitment advice across the business, supporting the business stakeholders with rolling out additional projects. You will be involved with high volume complex ER cases which you will manage the full process and coach line managers in order to upskill them on areas such as disciplinary and grievances. The role will include delivering training and coaching sessions to manager's throughout the business to increase their knowledge on HR practices and talent development.
You will be liaising with line managers to take a detailed job brief in order to recruit for new talent across the business. You must use your initiative in order to find new ways of sourcing candidates. Once you have posted the adverts, you will be responsible for arranging interviews and ensuring the HR Administrators are following through with the on boarding process once a candidate has been offered and accepted the role.
You will also get the chance to support key stakeholders with ad hoc projects. This will involve compiling regular HRMI in order to identify any business trends. There is also currently a big focus around employee engagement and sending out regular communications around this to the wider business. Due to some business changes, you will get the opportunity to be involved with TUPE and restructure processes.
The ideal candidate will be extremely driven and able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. You will be competent in using all Microsoft office programs and have previous experience with HR systems. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of most HR disciplines including employee relations, reward and benefits, HR reporting, HR systems, learning and development and recruitment.
You will be able to communicate with key stakeholders and be a strong team player to be able to stand up and fill in when needed. Ideally you will be CIPD qualified however this is not essential.
