Location: Based in Oxfordshire
Salary: £40,858 per annum
35 hours per week
The WI is the largest women’s organisation with almost 220,000 members. It plays a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and a chance to build new skills and campaign on issues that matter to them.
The National Federation of Women’s Institutes (the NFWI) is an umbrella body providing support and advice to members at both at regional and local levels.
In this role, you will work with our Membership Development Committee and will have responsibility for providing support to a team of National Trainers and Lead Judges.
As well as designing and sometimes delivering training programmes, you will develop training materials for both online and face-to-face training and get involved in webinar sessions with trainees. You will also take the lead in preparing grant funded applications and preparing and monitoring budgets for all externally funded training events.
In addition, you will manage a team of staff that support the Craft, Science and Leisure and Food and Garden committees who have responsibility for taking forward the committees’ plans for the coming year/s.
Having previously worked in a similar role training or tutoring adults, you will be a qualified assessor with a solid background in writing and designing engaging training materials for both online and face-to-face sessions. You will also have up-to-date knowledge of training techniques and be comfortable working with Laser Learning Awards and City & Guilds qualifications. Strong management experience is essential.
