Oakleaf are delighted to be working with a very successful law firm, who specialise in injury, discrimination, human rights and employment law. They are looking for someone to come in as a job share for 2 days a week to work in partnership with the other training consultant who works 3 days a week.


Key duties and responsibilities:

Main duties and responsibilities in conjunction with the Learning and Development Manager and Learning and Development Co-ordinator

Develop the trainee learning and development strategy and suite of training interventions and work with HR to assist in the process of qualification

Work with the Senior Management Team to develop and deliver training and development programmes for Business Services staff

Manage the Core Legal Programme working closely with the Training Champions in each department

Work with the Professional Ethics and Compliance team, Data Protection Officer, Anti-Money Laundering Officer and Anti-Bribery Partner to manage the administration of compliance training

Work with the Learning and Development Manager to design and deliver a suite of soft skill courses and materials

Managing e-learning, working with the Learning and Development Manager and Learning and Development Co-ordinator to design or source materials for the Learning Management System

Be instrumental in re-enforcing the learning and development culture in the firm

Be a decision point for urgent training requirements when the L&D Manager is not available

Learning Management System (LMS)

Working alongside the Learning and Development Manager and Learning and Development Co-ordinator to proactively ensure the effective functioning of the Learning Management System.

Utilising prior experience with Learning Management Systems to identify improvements in usage and to enhance the end user experience

Supervision

Oversee, supervise and manage the L&D Co-ordinator in relation to the aspects of the Learning and Development Department you manage, provide input into his/her annual appraisals and monitor his/her performance on an on-going basis.

Meeting deadlines and prioritising.

Good attendance and time keeping.
