We are exclusively collaborating with a successful manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a HR Advisor on a 12-15month contract. This role will be much focused on transactional HR as well as supporting the HR Business Partners with the advisory side.
Payroll is outsourced to a third party but you will be very much involved in terms of pulling together metrics and also ensuring that complicated changes uplifts are made. You will provide HR advice as needed to employees and line managers and you support the HR Business Partner with business specific projects. This will include management development and succession planning along with taking ownership of the recruitment piece. You will need to take ownership of on boarding, maintaining records, L&D, off boarding and general day-to-day HR support.
HR Advisor - the Person
·You will ideally be CIPD level 5 qualified or equivalent and have strong UK employment law knowledge
·Proven payroll administration experience would be advantageous
·A good understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process
·Strong transactional skills and an excellent knowledge of Excel and HRIS.
