Oakleaf are working on an interesting HR and People Analytics position for a leading Financial Services organisation.

You'll be joining the People Analytics team supporting the development and delivery of people and organisation related measures, metrics and analytics and related insights. The team has a growing focus on developing people-related analytics and insights and is seeking to further build capability in this space (e.g. including the advancement of predictive analytics, modelling, hypotheses driven research, statistics and linkages)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing subject matter expertise (SME) on people and business data and analytics, comfortable 'thinking with data' with the ability to tell business relevant and compelling stories based on the data and insights
  • Responsible for identifying trends, understanding what is happening in internal and external environments and predicting what future effects may occur. You will excel at finding answers through logical association, reasoning, deduction and other investigative techniques
  • Play a key role in increasing focus on predictive analytics, modelling and related research techniques to generate actionable business insights
The successful candidate will have

  • Proven HR knowledge and experience working in an information-rich environment
  • Practical experience of working with HR systems, analytics tools and research methods (e.g. PeopleSoft, Essbase, Tableau, databases, SPSS, R)
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills to solve complex problems
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a large, matrix organisation
