HR Manager opportunity working for a truly authentic and enthusiastic Head of HR. This HR Manager opportunity will see you lead HR activity across a manufacturing site based in Huddersfield, this is a single site stand-alone HR Manager role. You will work closely with the site general manager and be an integral part of the site leadership team. The purpose of the role is to support the leadership team through the delivery of a HR strategy that drives the business forward.
The role is a broad generalist role which will see you get involved in everything from recruitment and selection through to complex employee relations and change management. It is fair to say that no two days will be the same. People development and creating high performing teams are high on this organisations agenda, they take great pride in their people and creating an environment that with foster innovation and positivity. There will be a lot to do in this role, the site are a newly acquired site so you will work with the existing leadership and management team guiding them through various integration activities and working with the wider group to ensure an HR agenda is put together that is fit for purpose for your site and critically drives engagement and business growth.
You will be someone who is a broad HR generalist, you will be a commercial thinker and have experience of working with senior leadership. Manufacturing experience is not a necessity for this role, cultural fit and the ability to bring ideas from outside the industry are valued in high regard so this could be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to break into the manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to take real ownership for a site and a great stepping stone towards more senior HR positions.
