A global media business is looking for a HR Advisor/Business Partner to join them on an initial 6 month contract. You will have full generalist responsibility for circa 250 employees, therefore must have a keen interest in all areas of HR including ER, L&D and recruitment.


Key accountabilities

The role will broadly be equally split across Employee Relations and Recruitment, but include all of the following:

-Employee Relations- Working closely with line managers, managing communications and processes (disciplinaries etc)
-Recruitment- Assist in the recruitment process , sourced from both within the network, as well as external recruitment agencies. It is important you feel comfortable supporting on the end to end process
-Contracts and inductions - ensure employment contract compliance is complete

Other HR Project work may include:

-Performance and Talent Planning- Support to build talent plan for global client team, ensuring everyone has performance review and objectives and looking to career plans to best match client requirements and the future focus of the business.

L&D
- Assist with implementing and executing Route 500 (fast track) programme, an initiative for high performing staff.

Engagement
- Support with improving Global Check In (employee survey) engagement through initiatives including social, charity, etc.

TUPE
- Managing transfer of staff with the network. Liaise with appropriate HR and line contacts and keep in touch with transferee

Project Work
- Ad hoc projects when necessary



The person;

*The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 year's experience in an HR generalist role
*In addition hands-on recruitment experience is essential- this role will support
*Microsoft Office to an advanced level
*Excellent attention to detail
*Previous media experience is desirable
*Workday (HR database) experience would be beneficial but not essential
