If so then read on. Our client, a high profile-division of a multibillion telco/tech business, employing c17,000 with operations in nearly 200 countries is undergoing a major global transformation. Service excellence is at its core and it's constantly driven by a desire to be personal, simple and brilliant for all its customers.
We are helping them hire an outstanding candidate to develop and implement the longer-term learning capability and talent strategy which focuses on the business becoming a more agile customer orientated learning organisation which embraces technology enabled learning solutions. Leading a team of c10 globally dispersed, learning and leadership professionals, your sphere of influence will include leadership, performance, capability and learning, talent, D and I, culture and engagement. You will tailor your strategies to your division whilst also working with colleagues to ensure pan-group alignment.
Roles like this in organisations like this aren't two a penny which is why we're interested in candidates who have previously worked in complex, multi-divisional businesses with responsibility for large-scale learning, capability and talent development. You'll be able to evidence track record and an ability to succeed in a similarly structured business so are likely to have a background in FMCG, Pharma, Telco, Tech, large-scale Retail or Financial Services.
You'll be up for the challenge of a move to an organisation where the impact of your work will be highly visible and valued. In-depth experience of working with large scale technology enabled solutions would be a distinct advantage.
From a personal perspective, we're looking for the best. Successful candidates will be proactive, positive, resilient individuals with intellectual rigour and excellent programme management skills, able to influence and make things happen (not always easy!) in large organisations with the scale and history of our client.
We'll be looking for recent examples of how you have impacted in previous organisations and how you've contributed to them achieving transforming to become more digital savvy, agile and responsive to customers.
