To provide generalist HR advice and relevant administrative support across relevant internal stakeholders to enable understanding, develop capability of best practice and legislative requirements in the application of Company policies and procedures. 


  • Support, advise and coach line managers across all employee relations activity including; absence management, flexible working, investigation, disciplinary, grievances etc, providing appropriate levels of additional support where required
  • Provide business partner support with middle management to enable understanding, governance and delivery of HR policies and procedures
  • Reward - Provide job sizing and salary benchmarking and recommendations using the Towers Watson methodology and completing associated administration
  • Advise on full end to end recruitment, selection and on-boarding processes, agreeing appropriate levels of administrative support as required
  • Support the HR team/ Business Partners with delivery of strategic priorities, aligned to the Future Picture
  • Provide relevant stakeholders with analysis of people data and MI to inform and trigger action where appropriate
  • Provide administrative HR support as part of people processes and any other relevant ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Be an active member of group wide projects, groups and forums, representing both the HR team and appropriate business areas

  • Good knowledge of key HR policies and procedures and the ability to apply the fundamentals of employment law

  • Able to apply sound judgement to complex issues where a range of outcomes may be possible
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to discuss complex matters in a clear and understandable manner
  • Ability to balance prioritising alongside managing a busy and varied workload
  • Ability to work in a business partnering environment high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work as part of a team, or on your own initiative
