HR Manager - TUPE

HR Manager with TUPE project experience – fantastic client!

Location – Central London, with travel across sites

Contract type – Fixed Term Contract

Duration – 4 months initially

Start – ASAP – start of January

Salary if on a fixed term contract – Circa £50k (may be willing to pay day rate of circa £250, might flex on this)

What will be keeping you busy?

Our client, a large, well-known organisation based in London and with sites around the country, is looking for a senior HR professional with experience of managing large TUPE projects as they have recently won a major contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a great client at a time of real change.

Who are we looking for?

They need someone that has worked at a reasonably senior level within HR, has extensive project delivery experience and can demonstrate a real track record of managing TUPE and transformation projects from an HR perspective. The successful candidate will have experience of the following:

  • Management of complex TUPE programmes
  • Management of consultation processes and experience of working with unions
  • Contract negotiations and a strong understanding of legal frameworks
  • Transformation communications
  • Change Management
  • Organisation Design
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Learning and Development (useful)
  • Experience of coaching leaders and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Project management experience

Essentially we are looking for a strong senior generalist but someone who has exposure to TUPE work as this is fundamental to this role. In addition to the mechanics and contract negotiations required with managing the TUPE transfer of up to 900 people into the business, it is also key that the cultural and engagement aspects are handled effectively. This is a very important contract for the business and it is imperative that this work is handled by someone that knows what they are doing without the need for hand holding.

This is a regional role based in London with travel across the country. You will need to be someone that is a self-starter who can prioritise your work effectively. In return you will get to work on a really interesting project with a great business and some fantastic colleagues.
