Head of Human Resources
My client, a leading Children's Charity based in central London is now seeking an exceptional Head of Human Resources to join them on a permanent basis.As Head of Human Resources you will lead, develop and manage a small HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR business partnership service to the organisation. Working with the Senior Management Team you will utilize your extensive experience in an HR leadership role to develop the people focused strategies and business plans needed to ensure the right structure and policies are in place and that employees and volunteers are engaged and equipped with the skills and resources they require. In addition to delivering a comprehensive BAU HR service, this will also include leading the approach to pay and reward, recruitment and development, supporting effective leadership and organisational development, using evidence and analysis to provide insight into employee engagement, supporting organisational change and much more!This exciting role requires a pragmatic and adaptable individual with a proven background in an HR leadership role (Chartered MCIPD status preferred) together with the ability to create positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation through supporting, challenging and building consensus as needed. Whilst a background in the Charity sector is not essential, you will require a track record of success in a people-centric and mission-led business and demonstrate a genuine alignment with the values and purpose of the organisation. Previous experience of operating in an international context would also be helpful.As Head of HR you will also lead on safeguarding, ensuring that the right measures are in place to prevent harm to the children and young people connected with the organisation's work. Although previous experience in safeguarding is preferred, as a minimum you will need to demonstrate awareness of the factors which create a safe environment for children and young people and a commitment to act as the organisation's safeguarding focal point.
