We're currently working with a small financial services firm on a truly outstanding opportunity for an HR Assistant. Unusually, this role will offer a clear career trajectory to HRBP in years to come, under the guidance and mentorship of the Senior HRBP in this team of 4.

As HR Assistant your role will be to support the HRBP, gaining exposure across the entire generalist HR remit from recruiting, to employee relations issues and compensation. Responsibilities will be at administrative level to begin with, and although they're looking for someone very ambitious the tasks at hand would require someone with a muck in attitude.

Responsibilities would include:

Assist the HRBP with all recruiting activity from interviewing to ensuring GDPR legislation is adhered to

Assist with managing offers, to onboarding of all new employees and keeping track of the probation process

Administer training and assist with employee benefits

Manage systems for updating employee records, payroll data, holidays etc. run various reports as requested

Assist the HRBP with employee relations matters

Support the team with projects

Candidates suitable for this position will:

Have experience in an HR role of at least 1 year

Have a good understanding of HR processes and employment law

Be able to continuously develop personally, professionally and technically always showing an interest in doing so

Be educated to degree level or equivalent

Be very confident in managing relationships with senior stakeholders and being in a very visible role

Experience in financial or professional services preferred
