Temporary HR / Recruitment Coordinator - Leatherhead - Charity / Not for profit

Recruitment

To be the first point of contact for routine HR queries and respond to routine enquiries from staff, (recruitment) applicants as well as recruitment agencies, organisations which advertise roles directly and the advertising agency

To be the point of contact for line managers and provide advice regarding recruitment

To manage recruitment administration for all posts to include;

Electronic filing and updating of person specifications and job descriptions

Sourcing and engaging recruitment options for selected roles on advice of HR team

Updating the recruitment page of the CS website and other recruitment sites. Monitor response rates

Collating applications and dealing with routine enquiries, liaising with key contacts in all departments

Co-ordinating the shortlisting process, where necessary (i.e. for Head Office)

Informing applicants of the outcome, where necessary (i.e. for Head Office)

Arranging interviews, where necessary (i.e. for Head Office)

Making offers of employment and submitting all paperwork as part of the hiring process

Completing relevant pre-employment checks & joining paperwork for new starters

To draw up the payroll paperwork for new starters

To put together HR induction paperwork for new joiners

To hold HR induction meetings with new joiners as required

To regularly update line managers on the progress of recruitment and pre-employment checks within the charity

Probation Periods

Monitor probation periods and issue letters on satisfactory completion of the probation period

Database Management

To ensure that the HR System and database are maintained and kept up to date at all times

To support the HR & Training Officer in the following areas;

to maintain accurate new starter records for all employees

to maintain accurate training records for all employees

to produce agreed MI HR reports as required

Administration

To maintain the HR forms and policies in line with legislative changes and ensure that up to date copies are appropriately distributed

To ensure all personnel files are continually kept up to date and support the Head of HR when HR internal/external audits take place

To be responsible for the archiving and destroying of data as and when needed

To maintain accurate staffing lists

Previous exposure to HR / Recruitment

Strong communication skills

GOod organisational skills

Available to start asap
