A UK leading law firm is looking for an HR Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity with loads of opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of HR.

As an HR Assistant, this person will:

  • Be involved in the recruitment (graduate and lateral)

  • Coordination of the Trainee processes (registrations, reviews, seating and the qualification process)

  • Providing monthly payroll information and supporting the annual salary review process

  • Benefits administration

  • Managing holiday and absence requests: monitoring and escalating issues where relevant

  • Dealing with employee queries

  • Support the team with the firm's diversity and CSR volunteering initiatives

This person will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar generalist HR role within professional services (ideally legal)

  • Have strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Have excellent organisational skills

  • Have strong administration skills

  • Have excellent attention to detail

  • Have a muck-in and positive attitude

  • Be educated to degree level (2:1+) or equivalent
