We are currently recruiting for a HR Officer role to join our client based in Ipswich. The successful candidate will have previous HR generalist experience ideally in a corporate or professional services environment. CIPD Qualification is highly desirable. This role can be considered on a part-time or full-time basis based in Ipswich, with the occasional travel required to other offices.

Responsibilities:

• First point of contact for HR related queries, providing support and advice to the team.
• Maintain HR processes and procedures including sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, career development and holiday.
• Attending informal and formal meetings as appropriate.
• Undertake project development wok as directed by the Human Resources Manager.
• Provide support on recruitment activity when required helping with producing job descriptions and adverts, resourcing candidates and booking in interviews.
• Assist in producing HR statistics on a monthly basis.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Must have a strong knowledge of HR best practice and employment law.
• The ability to build relationships and have the confidence to communicate at all levels.
• Excellent technology skills with the ability to use HRIS Systems.
