ROLE SUMMARY

Working for an international healthcare organisation, the post-holder will support the Medical Talent Manager (based from their head office in Central London) to attract high calibre Doctors to join their business.

This position is a full time role, Monday- Friday and will involve regular travel to sites across London, to support hiring managers and take down detail job specs. Other travel may include attending careers events and exhibitions relating to the attraction of Doctors or promoting medical career pathways etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Responsible for hiring SPR Registrar level doctors into full time and part time permanent positions across a range of specialist areas- this will include; Oncology, Haematology, Paediatrics, Critical Care, Obs & Gynae, General Surgery, Chemotherapy Day Units, and Clinical Trials
* Deputise for the Talent Manager (i.e. attending Senior Stakeholder meetings in her absence) plus support them with Attraction Campaigns and the business's Resourcing Strategy
* Provide reports on market conditions and competitor benchmarking
* Work closely with hiring managers, advertising vacancies, creating attraction campaigns, proactively sourcing high calibre medical talent, arranging interviews, occasionally sitting on the interview panels, processing offers of employment and overseeing a compliance officer to ensure doctors are promptly on-boarded
* Keep in regular contact with new starters and also promote the employee referral scheme to attract further doctors to the organisation
* Daily maintenance of the ATS system, updating excel trackers and completing detailed weekly reporting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Prior experience of recruiting within a healthcare setting, ideally for Doctors
* Creative can-do attitude with prior exposure to working within a fast paced, challenging environment
* Ability to build rapport with a vast range of candidates, colleagues, and stakeholders
* Exceptional IT and reporting skills
