Master Finance Data Clerk

Ashley Kate are pleased to be partnered with a UK Leading Food manufacturer who are now seeking a Finance Data Clerk to join their Finance team at their premises in Peterborough.

The client has a growing Finance team and they are looking for someone with an analytical background in Finance with experience of SAP who can help the business generate financial reports on Vendors, Customers and materials. This roles works with the Sales ledger in the business, where you are expected to provide cover and support for the sale ledger function.

This roles reports to the clients Commercial Accountant and the responsibilities include but aren't limited to;

·Responsible for the accurate creation of customer, vendor and material master data and reports
·Responsible for copying master data to other support systems including EDI and warehouse management systems
·Support and verify accuracy of information on no SAP systems
·Support the finance team with the migration of data and systems into SAP
·Improving the efficiency and accuracy of data process
·Sales Invoicing on SAP and EDI
·Posting payments
·Produce regular reports on risk and conflict from access controls
·Any other adhoc Finance tasks allocated by the manager

You must have

·Experience in SAP or similar
·Previous sales or purchase ledger experience
·Good IT skills including Excel
·Good organisation and planning skills
·Attention to detail
·Keenness to resolve issues
·Excellent communications skill
·Meet deadlines
