Oakleaf Partnership are working with a leading, global law firm who are looking to recruit an L&D Manager. This will be a 12 month FTC covering a maternity leave. Based in the City, this person will be working closely with the Head of L&D, Director of HR, Learning & Know-How and the wider L&D team. You will be responsible for (but not limited to): Providing a consistently high level of service to the client base ( both fee earning and business services areas) firm-wideAssisting with a range of design, delivery and programme leadership within the core career, talent and skills programmesCollaborating on and helping to link up/support activity on the technical legal training, client and legal tradecraft skills side, alongside the core career programmesA range of project work to deliver on the firm-wide strategy within L&D This person will ideally be/have: Previous involvement at this level, or being ready to take on this level of role having been part of an L&D team elsewhereFull training cycle experience (training needs analysis, design, facilitation, delivery and evaluation)Awareness of current L&D trends and commercial L&D options to meet needsVery strong training, presentation and facilitation skillsManagement and creation experience of development programmes from scratch and innovating existing programmesExperience of development and assessment centresAbility to work and interact with groups and on 1:1 basisStrong advisory skills and able to consult on needs, make recommendations and deal with challenges/different views to find the best solution to meet business needsExperience managing processes and systems and use of Microsoft ExcelExperience working in a professional services environment/law firmPart or fully CIPD qualified - understands broader business and HR issues tooExperience of psychometrics and/or qualified in some If this L&D Manager vacancy is of interest, please get in touch or apply directly.
