Page Personnel are working with a leading organisation in the industrial sector based in Wakefield, who are actively seeking a HR Advisor to join their team on a 12 month FTC basis

This is a very busy and varied role, covering the entire employee lifecycle as part of their small HR team, and will involve management of a high volume of E.R cases

The client is a leading organisation in the industrial sector based in Wakefield, who are actively seeking a HR Advisor to join their team on a 12 month FTC basis

Description

In a busy and varied HR Advisor position, roles and responsibilities are to include, however are not limited to:

  • Provide professional advice to all Managers relating to HR, employment legislation and procedural issues, ensuring that all issues are closed out within the appropriate timescales
  • Support Managers through the disciplinary and grievance procedures. This will include advising on the process, managing the investigatory process, checking letters, taking notes and ensuring consistent outcomes are given at all meetings
  • Monitoring trends in employment practices and advising on appropriate proactive action
  • Undertake administrative duties supporting various HR processes including maternity and paternity leave and other forms of special leave; probation procedure; other terms and conditions of employment
  • Travel between various business sites and building key stakeholder relationships

Profile

Solid experience operating at Advisor level

Demonstrable E.R experience at high volume

CIPD qualified preferred

Full UK driving licence
