A leading logistics business – with an unrivalled reputation – is seeking a highly capable, commercially focused HR Advisor to provide a complete and varied generalist service to a diverse internal customer base.
Going through a significant period of growth the primary focus of this role will be to manage the recruitment of a high number of employees within a specific timeframe; thereafter you will then act as first point of contact for staff, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR issues including ER, recruitment, retention, engagement, Trade Union consultations and training delivery.
Working closely with a HR Business Partner (who is responsible for multiple sites, and such will have limited time on site) you will work autonomously, taking ownership of HR issues throughout the site. As such you must have excellent planning and organisational skills! With this in mind you must be a proactive HR professional with the ability to identify and deal with issues quickly and efficiently before these escalate.
In this role you will be exposed to both business as usual and project work, and the role will provide you with development that will benefit your career long-term.
To be considered for this role you must:
Be a true HR Generalist, having touched on all aspects of the HR lifecycle;
Have worked within a Unionised environment and been involved in negotiations with Union representatives;
Have managed change, growth and recruitment;
Be a proactive HR practitioner and understand how to increase management accountability and capability in order to deal with their own People issues;
Level 5 CIPD qualified (or working towards).
