Pension Scheme

Employees are entitled to join the ENB pension scheme on successful completion of their probation period.  ENB contributes 7.5% of your plan earnings while you will contribute a minimum of 5% of monthly earnings. There is also life assurance equivalent to 2 x salary when you enrol in this pension plan.

Dancers are enrolled as members of the Dancers Pension Scheme run by Equity.  This is a scheme tailored for the needs of dancers and also includes life insurance cover.

If you do not join either of these schemes or you are employed on a casual basis, you will be auto-enrolled into the People’s Pension after 13 weeks’ continuous employment but may opt out if you wish to.

Annual Leave

Employees are entitled to 5 weeks’ paid holiday (25 days when working full time hours) plus statutory public holidays. Dancers are entitled to 6 weeks’ paid holiday, which are scheduled by the company.

Season Ticket Loan

Employees are eligible to take out a season ticket loan upon satisfactory completion of their probationary period. Loans are intended to help spread the cost of travel to work on public transport and are repaid over an agreed period, interest free.

Cycle to Work Scheme

Scheme administered by Cycle Solutions for staff to purchase a bicycle and safety accessories to use primarily for travel to and from work. English National Ballet pre-pays the purchase cost in full, which is then deducted from your salary in instalments over a 12 month period. Savings are made on tax and NI.
