Our public sector client is looking for some temporary HR support on their busy employee relations team. The HR Officer will be responsible for providing generalist HR support with a focus on managing employee relations casework and supporting ongoing recruitment as well as the following:

  • Provide professional HR advice and support to the Senior Management Teams, supporting the development of pragmatic solutions that focus on enabling service delivery
  • To operate within appropriate management systems and practices that ensure risks are dealt with sensibly, responsibly and proportionately
  • Ensure performance standards are maintained to drive sustained and continuous performance improvements, efficiencies and value for money within agreed monitoring/reporting framework and standards
  • To contribute to the development of appropriate policies, procedures and processes that safeguard the Council, its employees and customers and ensure these are applied consistently

Albeit this is a temporary role, consideration will be given to candidates who hold a NVQ Level 5 or equivalent qualification plus significant relevant HR experience.
