ER Advisor - To start ASAP

12 month FTC

Stratford, North East London

£35,000 - £37,000pa + 22.5% bonus

An exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our clients growing team based in Stratford. This is a fantastic role for an experienced ER Advisor to work within a fast paced, global business!

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing all medium and high risk ER.Delivering effective coaching and development to line managers in order to manage ER cases and prevent a re-occurrence of issues.

Ensuring the HR systems, case management tools and employee files are accurate and up to date

Supporting ER Coordinators and the wider HR team with all escalated matters.

Determine the best course of action, ensuring that high-risk cases are quickly identified and escalated to the Senior ER Advisor.

Address issues of line manager non-compliance in relation to HR policy, process, procedure and employment law.

Manage long-term absence cases including the preparation and production of MI reports.

Preparation and presentation of monthly reports on volumes, trends.

Identify opportunities, and putting forward recommendations, for continuous improvement.

Identify skills/knowledge gaps and support in the delivery of interventions, such as workshops and coaching.

Lead on consultation processes and ad hoc project work

Skills required include:

Experience of working in a high volume ER Advisory role.Up to date employment law and best practice HR knowledge.

Ability to understand, interpret HR policies, processes and procedures and use these to advise line managers when dealing with complex ER cases.

Clear, articulate and concise communication skills - both verbal and written.

Good listening skills and questioning techniques.

Experienced in delivering coaching, training and development interventions to raise Line manager capability.

Competent use of working with a case management system.

Experience of working within a customer focused function within a large, retail based, company.

A can do, positive attitude that works towards identifying issues and seeking solutions.
