Oakleaf Partnership are leading the search on a fantastic opportunity for the new Head of HR role for our client, a financial services company based in Bahrain.

Reporting to the Head of HR in London, you will have responsibility for delivering a comprehensive HR service to the business across it's Gulf and Asia offices.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

Talent acquisition across all levels of the organisation.

Running induction and orientation programs for all new joiners.

Administering payroll and maintaining employee records.

Updating and implementing new HR policies, processes and systems.

Management of staff benefits programs, including liaison with brokers and insurance providers to negotiate contracts and premiums.

Advising on labor law and appropriate liaison with local labor counsel.

Learning & Development - analysing training needs; providing guidance on training for managers and their teams; & planning and delivering training.

Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:

At least 10 years in professional HR management, ideally with experience in the financial services sector.

Experience of working within an international organization and cross-cultural environments.

Expats based in the UK looking to relocate back to the Gulf Region.

Mixed experience of working in London and the Middle East.

Possess a strong commercial HR mindset with working knowledge of HR in the Gulf Region and insight into the various legislative and regulatory environments.

Appropriate undergraduate and/or graduate degree.
