Job Details
Joining a small, but global business as Senior HR Specialist you will be their lead HR professional with responsibility for sites in the West Midlands, Europe and the US. The business has been brought together in the last few years in a merger and they are now looking to improve and centralise their people and HR processes. As the Senior HR Specialist you will play a key role in this alongside the Divisional Director and with support from a Group HR Function.
Key responsibilities will include:
- The delivery of day-to-day HR support to managers and leaders across all sites.
- Developing and embedding HR processes to suit local, business and group strategies. Identifying where digitisation may be possible.
- Running Employee Engagement Surveys and responding to issues and ideas raised.
- Supporting the development of a more coherent divisional strategy and culture rather than 3 separate local businesses.
- Working with the key divisional stakeholders to attract, develop and retain the very best talent.
- Ensuring compliance across all sites.
We are looking for a qualified HR professional with:
- Experience of working in an international business.
- Project experience of bringing together talent and personalities to build a more coherent group/divisional business.
- The confidence to work as an autonomous HR professional advising at a senior and strategic level.
You will be based in the West Midlands, but can expect to travel globally 3-4 times a year. When you do so it is possible that you would choose to spend 1-2 weeks away from home at a time. Fluency in another European language would be helpful.
