We are actively recruiting for an interim HR Manager to join our client on a fixed term contract to cover maternity for 12 months. Reporting to the Head of HR you support the people management functions that underpin the business culture. You will manage and improve the following areas, employee matters, employee engagement, reward, professional growth, communications, performance management, tribunal claims.

You must be available to start the role mid-February

About you

• Experience in a HR Management Generalist role, with a strong Employee Relations background.
• Handling of sensitive and confidential information
• Strong UK Employment Law experience
• Up to date with current employment legislation
• Experience of dealing with ACAS Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal processes.
• Experience in the writing and implementation of Company Policies and Procedures.
• Previous Line Management skills.
• Strong influencing skills
• Commercial awareness
• Operational awareness preferable

About the role

• Leading the HR Advisory and Admin functions to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business.
• Employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness.
• Performance management: coaching managers on performance management issues and processes.
• Learning and development: designing and developing ER Training for management with the HR and L&D Teams.
• Ensure the Policy and procedures are fully compliant with current legislation, and thorough implementation of new HR policies and procedures.
• Working with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issues.
