An excellent opportunity for an experienced and progressive HR leader to develop and implement an HR strategy within a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing and distribution business.

As part of a European company with a growing international presence, this successful UK subsidiary has strong market brands in its niche product area. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the new Head of HR position will work at senior management level to bring people strategies, initiatives and implementation to the heart of the business.

The role will be both strategic and operational – bringing HR expertise to the company’s decision making and leading the people agenda at all levels of the organisation. Delivery will be through a small dedicated HR team.

We are looking for a true HR generalist who can bring with them knowledge and experience across all areas of HR including organisational development and change, workforce planning, resourcing, learning and development, reward and employee relations.

The organisation wants an HR leader who is solutions and results focussed, happy to challenge the status quo to bring about positive change, and resilient and adaptable in challenging situations.

You will be minimum MCIPD qualified, have a comprehensive understanding of employment law and have a commercial understanding of HR’s impact within a business. Your experience leading an HR function will include fast-paced, customer-focussed environments and ideally a multi-site organisation.

Communication, both written and verbal, will be a core strength and relationship building will come naturally to you. Strong analytical skills will go hand-in-hand with effective decision-making.

The remuneration package on offer is negotiable depending on what skills and experience the successful candidate will bring to the organisation.
