Page Personnel are working with a market-leading global professional services organisation, based in Sheffield, who are actively seeking a HR Advisor to add value to their HR function.

In a fast-paced position, candidates will provide advice relating to the entire employee lifecycle and are required to have a strong generalist background with demonstrable experience dealing with high volume E.R cases.

Page Personnel are working with a market-leading global professional services organisation, based in Sheffield, who are actively seeking a HR Advisor to add value to their HR function.

Description

In a busy and varied HR Advisor position, roles and responsibilities are to include, however are not limited to:

Support on the application of HR policies and procedures, conditions of service and employment law

Comprehensive support and leading in multiple E.R cases including discipline, attendance management, grievance (individual/collective), redundancy and consultation with unions

Fulfil personal requirements where appropriate with regard to policies and procedures, particularly health and safety, equal opportunities, customer care, work standards and promotion of the companies and clients core values

Delivery of HR projects, as and when required

Ensure client retention through effective relationship management and also identify opportunities to develop and grow the business

Profile

Up to date knowledge, understanding and practical application of employment legislation and issues including diversity in employment

Experience of establishing credibility with clients and communicating simply and persuasively about HR issues with non HR specialists

Experience of providing employee relations and employee resourcing advice to education based clients

Ability to provide clear verbal and written advice

Effective written and oral communication skills
