Job Details

A newly created role has arisen working with a well-established, successful and progressive organisation that is embarking on a programme of growth and expansion. To support this growth the company requires its Head of People to help drive a cultural change throughout the business.

The aim is to create a working environment where people have the support, opportunity and challenge to progress and develop, and where all colleagues trust and respect each other.

This is an opportunity to work with a great CEO as part of a leadership team that are trying to create a genuine culture of positivity and empowerment.

This is a varied stand-alone role and the successful candidate will need to be able to balance working as part of the leadership team and operational board right the way down to fulfilling HR Administrative duties where required.

The role will look after the following key areas;

• Design and implement people processes and strategy
• Recruitment, talent management and succession planning
• Training, development and performance management
• Reward, recognition and incentives
• Ensure all people processes align to the organisations culture and values
• Building a programme for internal success recognition
• Lead positive employee relations
• Employment Law, Policies and Record Keeping:
• Payroll and benefits administration

• Proven experience in leading a commercial HR function
• Ideally experience of working in a sole HR role
• A positive and proactive approach to developing people
• Superb communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• A solid grasp of UK employment law
