Your new role

This role will have a range of different responsibilities and will be split down the middle. 50% of this role will be focusing on ER case work. You will deal with all manner of cases including absence management, capability and conduct issues, performance management, restructures, redundancies, varying terms and conditions of employment and undertaking disciplinary investigations as and when required;
.These case can range from being a simple absence case to being a very in depth complex case. You will manage the cases from start until completion and work with the HR Manager to resolve them as efficiently as possible. You will also be the first point of contact for any general day to day queries relating to a variety of different matters.
The other 50% of your role will be focusing on varying projects. The business is going through some big changes and you will provide a full HR support to the HR Manager and the HRBP. You will be required to assist in varying change management projects including change in working patterns (agile working), relocation, terms and conditions changes and other ad hoc projects. You will also get fully involved in a large recruitment and on boarding project assisting and assuring that the recruitment process is completed as effectively and efficiently as possible.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have experience in dealing with all manners of Employee Relations issues up to and including dismissal.
You will be comfortable in delivering complex advice and guidance on a range of different queries.
You will have experience dealing with a range of different ad hoc project work but also have detailed experience in the full recruitment process and dealing with relocation and restructure.
You will ideal be qualified to CIPD lvl 5 or above.
You will be immediately available and be able to commit to the full 6 month period (possibly longer)
You will have worked in a similar role dealing with similar issue previously.
