The Opportunity
A leading investment company with locations throughout the UK require a part-time HR Manager (20 hours/week) based in their Head Office in London. This is an exciting stand-alone HR position to service the whole group. This is a prestigious firm with an unrivalled reputation where you will report to both the Managing Director and Finance Director and support the Remuneration Committee.
The Detail
You will be responsible for the following:
*Payroll administration (managing a third party)
*Conducting the annual performance appraisals and producing corresponding reports of the results to the MD
*Outlining the personal goals for all staff and monitoring the mastery of these objectives
*Providing financial metrics to assist with forecast planning *Identifying training and development areas
*Managing the full employee lifecycle including compliance and recruitment *Responsibility for all ER matters
*Maintaining the company database and staff handbook
*Ensuring best practice and regulations are adhered to regarding policies and procedures (including GDPR)
*Liaising with external providers for health insurance, pensions and life assurance
Skills and Experience
*Experience managing payroll
*Excellent and current knowledge of UK employment law
*A good understanding of auto enrolment regulations and employee share schemes
*Excellent IT proficiency: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*Strong knowledge of GDPR obligations
*Excellent written and spoken English
*Strong communications skills and the ability to meet deadlines effectively
*Meticulous attention to detail
What's on offer:
This is a permanent, part-time position paying the equivalent of £55,000-60,000 (FTE)+ bonus +benefits, negotiable depending on experience.
