Ashley Kate HR & finance are pleased to be partnering with our Global manufacturing client, in appointing a new HR Manager for their UK site. The company boast 30000 employees across international offices, and successful year on year growth. You will be supporting their main UK office with an Employee base of circa 70 staff, as well as working closely with their International sites, across Europe, Asia and Australia. An international understanding and willingness to travel are essential for this role.

As HR Manager you will be adaptable to different cultures, have experience in working within commercial and fast paced blue collar environments, and be a strong relationship builder.
The HR manager will sit on the ops committee and be a valued member of the team. Credibility, and commercial acumen a must to fit within this business. You will manage HR projects, but be the interface of HR from the ground up. A hand on approach is key to the success of this candidate.

Reporting to the MD with a dotted line into the Global HR Director, you will be an active member of the Management team. You will have ultimate responsibility for all operational HR activity and to accelerate the development of HR services supporting the organisation's growth plan. You will be keen to develop and grow with the business to further grow into the ever increasing strategic HR requirements of the organisations with a passion to further your career in this area.

You will be highly commercially focused and be responsible for looking at the business needs providing practical HR solutions in line with the organisations planned growth.
This will include compensation & benefits, training & development, employee engagement and a well being strategy. You will develop processes to manage and provide reports on key HR data, manage appraisal systems and implement an appropriate HR management tool for the business. Furthermore, the role will involve the full end to end cycle from recruitment, to induction programmes and coaching & mentoring.


The Group HR Manager will possess:
·Proven background working at a senior HR operational level
·Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent
·Previous experience of developing and delivering a HR and strategy
·Strong UK Employment Law Knowledge along with European law experience.
·Exceptional at building relationships, communication & excellent leadership skills
·Prior involvement in influencing executive & senior managers
