Oakleaf Partnership are recruiting a superb opportunity for an HR Operations Manager for our client, a leading global retail business.

This role will act as the engine room for People Systems, Process, Planning, Metrics, Employment Policy, Reward, & central co-ordinator for Group employee engagement and initiatives.

This role will also require someone who can hit the ground running on the planning and implementation of a brand-new system into HR, along with maintenance development of current systems. This will require you to work closely with the current Head of Talent Acquisition and Head of Learning & Development on how best to effectively develop and plan for future systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership of a multiple country HR operations function working at pace implementing and engaging HR Organisation Change

  • Working with Regional HR leaders and/or acting as first point of accountability to liase with lawyers, tax specialists etc to support cross business needs

  • Supporting management on the relocation piece including inter country moves which require elevated attention to contracts, taxation and relocation subsistence in line with country legal obligations.

As the successful candidate, you will ideally be able to demonstrate experience of the following in an HR Operations senior role.

  • Highly commercial and engaging multi-site, multi country customer centric organisations ie retail, hospitality, commercial service sector

  • SME size organisations where HR teams are light, nimble and versatile

  • Understanding and experience in influencing peers and senior intelligent business community. Needs to be confident and comfortable in being challenged and in presenting rationale for change.

  • Strong Project Management Process awareness and structure to ways of working
