A global Professional Services firm are recruiting for an Assistant HR Manager to join their HR Advisory team. As an Assistant HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing the service of the HR Advisory team along with driving consistent delivery of best practice and managing a team of HR Advisors and Senior Advisors. Key responsibilities include:

Stakeholder management such as working closely with HR Leads, HR Business Partners and Performance Leaders and identifying key relationships in the business and proactively building them

Working closely with the HR leads, HRBP's, Business Leaders and HR Advisory Team, you will play an active role responding to business needs and driving consistency from the centre

Ensuring HR plays a productive role in upskilling and coaching Performance Managers and Performance Leaders in abilities to manage ER issues

Employee Relations such as coaching HR Advisors and Senior Advisors, to include providing advice and guidance on the most challenging cases

Leading and coordinating complex change programmes within your business area and becoming an expert in all ER matters, whilst proactively imparting this with wider HR Advisory team

Taking a commercial and considered stance to risk assessment, linking in with Employment Law Advisory team and escalating issues as appropriate to the HR Advisory Team Manager before escalation to relevant CoE

Centre of Excellence such as leading involvement with a specific CoE

Identifying and driving opportunities to be more efficient and consistent

Coaching and guiding team members on agreed approach and principles

Sharing knowledge and experience with wider team

As the Assistant HR Manager, you will possess:

CIPD qualification

Proven ability to work to deadlines and work without supervision

Proven ability to influence and challenge others and drive change

Excellent people management skills and a passion for developing others

Strong communication skills

Strong IT skills
