Working as a HR Business Partner you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the people strategy. To provide support and guidance to designated business areas including the overseas operation in line with the HR people plan in order to improve people capability.

(This role will include travel oversees)

  • Develop and manage relationships with the key stakeholders both within the designated area and cross functionally to ensure that all stakeholders are engaged with the HR team
  • Advise on complex and/or escalated ER issues ensuring they are managed and resolved at the appropriate level
  • Manage, develop and motivate the HR Officers, ensuring they deliver accurate support, guidance and coaching at the appropriate level to Managers within their designated areas
  • Take the lead on ad hoc HR projects ensuring they support the development of the designated business areas and the delivery of the HR strategy
  • Partnering with the other HR areas/functions to provide information and support on key calendar and employee life cycle activities ensuring their delivery in an accurate and timely manner
  • Be the first point of contact for advising and supporting any organisational change within the designated business area ensuring such change supports the development of the business as a whole
  • Working with the HR team, responsible for the design, development and delivery of HR technical training for Managers on key policies and procedures ensuring they have the right skills to manage their team effectively
  • Responsible for providing updates on changes to employment legislation and best practice to the HR Team and key stakeholders within the business ensuring that they are aware of and understand the impact of any such changes
  • In conjunction with the appropriate Managers in the HR team, responsible for developing, maintaining and updating all contracts, policies and associated documentation ensuring they comply with any changes to the law and best practice
  • To share and develop knowledge, ideas and expertise within the HR Team ensuring effective team working and the delivery of expert service to the business

Experience and Behaviours:

  • Proven track record of HR generalist experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of being effective at influencing at a senior level
  • Strong strategic and commercial awareness
  • An understanding of risks within a business in the context of finding a practical solution
  • Effective team working

Desirable:

  • Able to work under pressure and a high degree of resilience
  • Employee Relations exposure oversees / understanding of oversees employment law
