Artis HR are currently supporting a fantastic Media Business with the recruitment of a HR Business Partner regionally. This role will be home based however you will need to be in London 1-2 days per week and support sites such as Manchester and Birmingham and others across the midlands. This role needs a candidate who will be able to work across multiple regions. This is a permanent post, our client will consider candidates who are looking for full time and 4 days per week, salary £40-45,000 + car allowance.

Purpose of the position


This role will act as a strategic partner to Editorial Director and Chief Audience Officer, working strategically to develop and implement an effective people plan supporting their areas, business objectives and delivering operational excellence.

This role will work as the bridge between Nationals and Regionals to ensure consistency, coordination and to align business priorities.


Principal responsibilities
This is a brand-new role which is evolving and will require someone with a flexible and collaborative approach who isn't afraid of developing adaptable ways of working. It is believed that some extensive travel is required for this role. Flexible working will be considered.

―Provide organisational development, change management expertise and a value-adding partnership to the business.
―Work closely with Senior Leaders in order to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall aims of the organisation.
―Diagnosis of critical issues affecting the business function, preventing or blocking them achieving their aims/strategic goals.
―Facilitating change, engagement and culture initiatives.
―Leading/driving cross functional projects that deliver value to our businesses and a ROI.
―Working with the Regional HRBP team to coordinate the talent agenda including:
●Identifying, monitoring and sourcing internal talent across the client group working closely with specialist functions to develop and implement sustainable plans and to address skills gaps/future needs.
●Considering and identifying external talent from diverse backgrounds to ensure we gain a newsroom reflective of our communities.
―Participate in succession planning discussions with stakeholders and regional HRBP's.
―Commercially focussed. Commercially savvy and able to manage multiple change programmes to drive down costs and to support the growth agenda.
―Working with the Resourcing team, provide sponsorship and drive the execution of a cohesive talent acquisition strategy that focuses on attracting, retaining and developing talent.
―Reviewing the compensation and benefits offering and ensuring it is fit for purpose, whilst coordinating with the HRBP's on their areas for consistency.

Required qualifications/experience
*Substantial experience in HR through progressively more responsible positions covering all HR generalist HR areas.
*CIPD Level 7 or equivalent recognised qualification/ degree in related subject (or ability to demonstrate equivalent levels of functional knowledge)
*Knowledge of/ know how to work in a matrixed model
*Experience with dispersed workforce
*Solid project management background and experience with HR technologies
