HR Advisor - 6 month contract

Fyte HR is recruiting an HR Advisor on a 6 month contract for a leading organisation based in South Lanarkshire. This role is essential to achieve excellent operational service and promote continuous improvement.

Reporting to the HR Manager, key responsibilities of this role include:

• Acting as the first point of contact to the business advising, coaching and assisting Managers in all aspects of day to day operational HR including employee relations, discipline, grievance, absence, promotion, selection and performance
• Building effective relationships at all levels across the business, raising the profile of the HR operation
• Supporting and advising Managers in the investigation of disciplinary and grievance issues
• Participating in the implementation of new initiatives or project work in order to support the delivery of the HR strategy
• Assisting with reviewing HR policies and procedures in line with legislative changes

To be considered for this position you will need:

• Experience of working within a generalist HR Advisor role, preferably within a manufacturing environment although not essential
• Experience of managing employee relations cases including absence management, grievance and disciplinaries
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
• To be CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification
• To enjoy building and maintaining relationships at all levels
• A strong commercial awareness
