My client, a well-established luxury Retailer based in the heart of London are looking for an L&D Advisor to join their dynamic team! Their ambition is to be the number one department store in the world for luxury branded merchandise, maintaining an unprecedented level of retail standards, expertise and profitability.

Diagnosing the learning needs to be addressed as part of this well know talent programme

Reviewing and evaluating the existing programme to understand the impact and any gaps

Introducing digital learning to the programme through a combination of purchased content and own digital content to emphasise that learning can happen anywhere

Refreshing existing content and creating new content to ensure a blended approach that meets the identified learning needs

Incorporating our new employer brand and values into the offer

Facilitating face-to-face learning sessions and ensuring a great colleague experience

Measuring the success of the programme regularly, sharing learning with key partners and stakeholders, and taking on board recommendations to look for opportunities to make our content even better

Scheduling learning to meet the needs of the business

Regularly reviewing the content in partnership with HR and business stakeholders to ensure the content remains fresh and relevant, and that we have the latest L&D thinking incorporated into our approaches

Managing partnerships with suppliers in line with financial and procurement processes

Supporting Learning Manager-led projects by:

Working closely to understand and identify development needs and make suitable recommendations to create the right solutions

Developing learning materials that support the L&D strategy, using multiple learning approaches

Leading ad hoc learning projects by ensuring a strong understanding of the learning needs, recommending and designing appropriate solutions, and implementing the learning using a blended approach wherever possible

Working closely with our Learning Managers and Internal Comms teams to create unique communication and marketing approaches to ensure our colleagues are aware of our learning offer

Technical competencies:

Learning programme management

Accurate diagnosis of learning needs

Development of face to face, blended and online programmes

Facilitation of learning workshops or programmes

Working in partnership with subject matter experts (internal or external)

Implementation of learning solutions

Evaluation of learning

Marketing of learning offer
