We're working with a prestigious financial services firm on an opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant to join their well-established HR team. You'd work closely with a Senior HRBP and provide generalist support and over time work on projects and have the room to increase responsibilities.

They're looking for someone that is highly motivated and eager to learn and progress. At the same time, the position will include administration, and reporting so you'd need to be strong on Excel and take pride in doing the basics very well.

Responsibilities would include:

HR Admin to include benefits, payroll queries, letters and correspondence for HR related matters, update the HR system

Lead on recruitment processes building relationships with candidates, agencies and hiring managers

Manage onboarding and offboarding end to end

Support the Payroll Specialist with all updates including new starters, benefits etc.

Assist on the year end processes, such as appraisals and compensation

You will learn all regulatory HR through training and from the HOHR, and thereon manage matters appropriately

Support all ER matters, from absence, performance to dismissals

Projects - such as wellness initiatives, new HR system implementation, constant review of HR processes and improvements etc.

It is worth noting that all the above responsibilities as aforementioned have the potential to develop.

Candidates suitable for this role will:

Have 2 years of HR experience as an Administrator or Assistant, preferably within the same firm and that being either financial or professional services

Be analytically strong, comfortable with figures, data and MS Excel

Be comfortable working in a very high-performing team in a fast paced, ambiguous environment

Be educated to degree level or equivalent
