Description

The Group Global Mobility Manager London is a newly created role that will be central to supporting the development of the Group's Global Mobility strategy. The role comprises:

Immigration/work authorisations

Compensation alignment

Benefit and social security scheme issues

Physical relation assistance

Analytical Reporting

Key responsibilities:

Serve as the central point of contact to provide guidance to HRBP's and other internal stakeholders for all matters related to Global Mobility and Immigration for the group.

Manage global immigration program, including coordination of work authorisation for intercompany transfers, expiration tracking and renewal management, periodic review of right-to-work compliance, and strategic long-term immigration planning;

Provide resolution to requests outside of policy guidelines; make appropriate recommendations to, and collaborate with, the senior HR leadership team on complex cases where necessary;

Provide advice and guidance in relation to operating in new locations/regions, supporting the start-up process;

Report and analyse mobility data to better identify global mobility trends, employee engagement issues, and other opportunities to improve program management;

Build and develop relationships with service providers for immigration, relocation, and tax, to ensure outstanding customer service, policy compliance, and data integrity;

Serve as primary point of contact for Global Mobility vendors;

Liaise with employees, Payroll teams, and other internal stakeholders to monitor business traveller activity and ensure compliance;

Manage the compensation data collation process for all current mobility cases and report data to payroll teams and third party providers;

Liaise with payroll teams and third party providers to ensure proper alignment of compensation paid with services performed for all Global Mobility cases;

Stay up-to-date on all regulatory and legislative changes and ensure overall compliance with local immigration and tax laws, consulting with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed.

Continue to grow the Global Mobility function, educate the business on risk mitigation and compliance, and provide subject matter expertise in the area of global mobility and immigration to internal stakeholders.

Work closely with Group Tax to ensure that the full HR and Tax service to internal and external stakeholders continuously improves and is as efficient, effective and as seamless as possible.

Undertake and deliver ad-hoc projects and duties as required

Profile

Requirements for the Global Mobility Manager in London:

  • Significant experience in Global Mobility role or a related role within a Professional Services Firm

  • Consultative approach, engages stakeholders in a collaborative manner.

  • Expertise in developing, implementing and reinforcing processes and tools to improve efficiency, transparency and accountability

  • Strong customer focus with keen attention to detail and the ability to translate requirements in to action.

  • Knowledge of global mobility services, including but not limited to immigration, tax and relocation

  • Strong global mind-set with experience working in a global organisation.

  • Excellent communication skills - effectively utilised to influence situations and outcomes.

  • Highly analytical in approach to developing recommendations, collecting, extracting, analysing and manipulating large data sets.
