Your new company

My client are a well established manufacturing group with an impressive customer base and head quartered in South Shropshire.

They are now looking to hire an experienced Recruiter to join their business to improve direct sourcing rates, build talent pipelines and take a more proactive approach to their recruitment and attraction strategy.

Your new role

• Understanding recruitment needs and get to a position where you can plan for them
• Editing the specifications for the position (initially prepared by the manager) prior to them being issued out.
• Sourcing candidates
• Organising and attending at recruitment events
• Participating in interviews and advising senior management as to suitability of candidates
• Managing the communication with agencies/candidates/managers of the company

General HR Duties & Responsibilities

• Request references from new employees contacts and advise management in line with due process
• Manage leaving employees in terms of exit interviews and relevant process/paperwork.
• Liaise with all management personnel for the replacement of leavers

What you'll need to succeed

• Good knowledge of Engineering, Manufacturing and Management Recruitment
• Previous experience of using online recruitment platforms (Linkedin, Indeed, Total Jobs)
• Previous experience using SAP Employee Central
• Existing networking relationships within relevant industries and recruitment agencies

• Is capable of working to meet and exceed deadlines
• The ability to communicate with colleagues at all level and external professionals
• Conceptualise requirements very quickly
• The ability to be flexible and complete required tasks within an agreed timescale
• The ability to prioritise workload
• Work with limited supervision in an accurate manner
• The ability to use own initiative in the priority of tasks
• The ability to problem solve
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to report on progress in written and verbal medias

What you'll get in return

The role attracts a salary of c£28,000-£32,000 plus benefits. My client also operate a flexi time system.
