Portfolio HR are proud to be representing our international client in their search for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager to join their team on a 12 FTC Maternity cover. The purpose of this role is to flawlessly manage and execute key compensation and benefit processes.
The Compensation & Benefits Manager will lead and supervise the team, ensuring that all day to day activities are dealt with in a timely manner as well as, but by no means limited to, the following:
- Management of the Compensation and Benefits team.
- This roles will be required to bring clarity on the processes, identify the key decisions points and provide talking points for line managers to communicate any changes to individual packages.
- Deliver training to line management/HR on benefits, ensuring that all are well equipped to manage employee's benefits related queries
- Liaising closely with Payroll to ensure that any benefits changes are implemented are communicated
- Implement changes within compensation and benefits in relation to the Gender Pay Gap findings.
- Adhering to internal compliance requirements by ensuring that all processes are documented
- Update the HR team on changes to benefits legislation, compensation & benefits strategy and the status of implementation plans.
- Provide reports to enhance the performance of reward management services.
- Provide market data and salary recommendations to HR Business Partners for ongoing HR processes such as recruitment, promotions, movements etc.
- Interpret new legislation and developments in the Compensation & Benefits area ensuring any changes are implemented and properly communicated
- Support the pension trustees with topics such as pension reports, developing the pension proposition and better communicating this important area to staff.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience of Management within Compensation & Benefits/Reward.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines
- Experience of working in a delivery/operational manager role is essential
- Experience of working in a large organisation is highly desirable
- Clear communicator who can identify key messages and deliver them in a simple way.
- Attention to detail - is able to develop reward recommendations with accuracy, in a timely way.
- Process mind-set is able to set out and deliver an approach and process that assures smooth delivery of the key compensation processes..
- Experience of working across multiple markets and cultures.
- Builds strong relationships at all levels
- Strong client/customer service focus.
- Willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and demonstrate flexibility
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrate a solutions oriented approach
- Positive, can do attitude
