Senior HR Systems & Information Manager

The role is Fixed-term for 18 months (may become permanent)

Salary: £44,340 plus London Weighting Allowance of £4266

Your role

Joining the organisation at an exciting time, you will have the opportunity to ensure the successful launch of a new HR system (ResourceLink) and be instrumental in further developing it.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for payroll and benefits, reward, HR systems and people analytics for approximately 1000 staff.

There will be a strong focus on you increasing the team’s ability to conduct people analytics and draw meaningful insights from data, to inform the work of the People Directorate. You will have a real opportunity to help shape this.

You will be a key communicator and work closely with other teams to ensure an excellent service across the organisation.

     What you will need

  • Considerable experience of HR systems and information, including implementing, configuring, developing, or maintaining.
  • Advanced Excel skills including charting, pivot tables, V-look ups and complex formulas
  • Experience of conducting statistical analysis using multiple data sets and presenting findings appropriate to the audience
  • Experience and knowledge of payroll and benefits processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

About the IOPC

As a totally independent body, not part of the police or government, we oversee the police complaints system in England and Wales. As well as setting the standards the police should apply when handling complaints, we investigate and make decisions on some of the UK’s most sensitive cases, including where police action may have led to death or serious injury.
