Job Details

My client is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager based in Glasgow.  This role is responsible for planning and coordinating key clinical based activities to enable the client to deliver its service delivery commitments as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities:

The role will require an organised individual, analytical, with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally to influence change.

The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for:

  • Working to the Account Plan and Service Delivery Plan for the designated client / sector, using clinical and industry knowledge and expertise to inform the plans and support successful implementation
  • Defining and co-ordinating the Learning and Development (L&D) Plan for all clinicians working on their contract(s) and ensuring effective delivery via the L&D team. The clinical lead role will be expected to lead Learning & Development. 
  • Carry out any reasonable ad hoc task as requested by the Head of Operations
  • Requirement to travel to customer meetings

Essential Criteria

  • Postgraduate Qualifications in Occupational Health or related clinical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification clinical practice including at least 1 years experience in a leadership/coaching/managerial role in an Occupational Health or similar setting
  • Excellent and fluent communication skills in English – written and verbal, demonstrating ability to write compelling management reports and deliver engaging presentations as required
  • Excellent Consulting skills, able to demonstrate active listening, empathy, assertiveness, recognise boundaries and the limits of their own competence
