HR Operations Manager
We are seeking an outstanding HR Operations Manager to lead, manage and implement an integrated, quality HR function for the Charity. This is an exciting new role which has been specifically created to deliver an excellent end-to-end unified HR Operations function with a clear focus on customer service and added value.
Managing and developing the HR operations team, you will help drive change, taking responsibility for ensuring all processes and procedures are legally compliant, streamlined, understood and effectively implemented across all business units.
Reporting to the Director of People, you will oversee all recruitment, onboarding, service delivery, first line enquiries and payroll, whilst you will also inform the People Strategy and associated plans.
Self-motivated, creative and pragmatic, you will manage the full implementation of our HR system Cascade, ensuring that the organisation benefits from its full functionality. Taking responsibility for the development and provision of effective people metrics and analysis to inform the Executive Group and managers, you will also measure overall customer satisfaction, ensuring an improved service delivery for the whole organisation.
CIPD qualified or similar, your experience of driving change, reviewing and implementing process improvements and a successful track record of managing a multi-disciplinary HR operations function, will ensure all recruitment strategies and activities are effective and beneficial to the Charity.
An ability to demonstrate how you meet Action on Hearing Loss’ values would be highly desirable.
Communication is a basic human need. Yet most of us know someone who struggles with hearing loss. It doubles the risk of dementia, doubles the risk of depression, and harms confidence, employability and life chances. Hearing loss also makes people more likely to be lonely.
Action on Hearing Loss (formerly the RNID) is the UK’s largest charity for the 11 million people in the UK who confront deafness, tinnitus and hearing loss every day. Established in 1911, we help people to take control of their lives and live the life they choose, removing the barriers standing in their way. We give support and care, develop technology and treatments, and campaign for equality.
