You will be responsible for reviewing and updating the Council’s Human Resources policies, procedures and the management guidance, which support the Council’s aims and objectives. Other key priorities for this role include supporting the effective management of the agency worker system and promoting the Council’s benefits scheme. 

All roles will also be involved in key HR projects and initiatives as well as supporting continuing corporate improvement.

All roles will also be part of the team providing advice on the Council’s policies and procedures through our helpline.

To be successful within these roles you will need to be an organised and confident individual who is CIPD qualified and able to demonstrate having worked successfully to the CIPD Professional Map. You will also have up to date knowledge of employment law and evidence of continuous professional development.

Testing date: Thursday 28 March 2019

Final interviews will take place on Wednesday 3 April and Thursday 4 April 2019
