MI Strategy and Business Manager

Oakleaf Partnership are working with a Big 4 consultancy company based in City of London recruiting for a Strategy and Business Manager This is a permanent position within the growing L&D team.

The role will include:

Supporting the HRD Learning to define and iterate the Learning Strategy, aligned to the Global Learning Strategy and UK Member Firm Learning Business case.

Managing an overall project plan for all Transformation work streams within a business case, to align actions and outcomes to the learning strategy and financial plan

Developing and maintaining key project documentation (RAIDs, Action Logs, Executive presentations) and working closely with the HRD for Learning to drive a programme of change to success

Working with Finance to monitor, track and influence the budget and track savings aligned to a business case. It will be especially important to work with the Service Line Learning senior managers, where technical training budgets sit

Working with all senior managers to define strategic KPIs for the learning function.

Skills required include:

Strong financial management skills and commercial acumen

Judgement, problem solving and decision making. A self-starter with experience of driving projects to an outcome

Able to work agilely with Finance to interpret and present financial numbers simply and with analysis

Strong conceptual thinking, able to work with complex information and see the patterns and root cause to problems. Thoughtful in approach and happy to challenge and ask questions to gain clarity and better outcomes

Comfortable working in a fluid and highly collaborative way, happy to roll up sleeves and get stuck into developing work

Able to bring out the best in people when working under pressure.
