What can we tell you about this fantastic client?

We don’t want to say too much about what the client does at the moment as that would ruin the surprise.

What we can say is that this is a really lovely business with great people that love what they do. You will be working in a noisy and vibrant office with hard working and good humoured colleagues. It is a sociable atmosphere whilst offering an environment that is respectful and understanding of how busy people can be in HR.

The nature of the business means that there are around 300 people working in head office and about 1500 ‘shop floor’ employees. This creates broad spectrum of ER case work and this is where you come in…

Who are we looking for?

We looking for someone who can handle a high volume of case load which can be anything from a probation review to a tribunal case and everything in between. The client has a lot of disciplinary cases where employees also raise a grievance so they can be pretty complex at times but the more complex work will be picked  up by the ER Manager (who is a star by the way).

We would like to see someone from a Commercial environment, who is used to dealing with volume but also is pretty resilient and highly organised. The client has external employment law advisors, who are like an insurance company and underwrite their advice so this person will have them to run things by.

Whoever does this role will need to have sufficient nous and employment law understanding to know when they need to make use of this resource.

Essentially we are after someone with strong knowledge of employment law, the processes around ER case work and a good amount of common sense that enables you to know when a formal approach is required.

This would suit someone that might be a contractor or who is available straight away, working as an ER Case Advisor or it might suit a generalist that has handled high volumes of ER case work. You will have support with your work here, we would like to see people that can start ASAP.

Company

Fetch Recruitment was set up by Yasmin Elezaj and Tommy Gale in 2017.  After years of working in and managing successful recruitment businesses, they decided to go into business together and have created an expert team.

Both with young families and very similar values in and out of work, they realised that they could offer excellent service to clients that were looking for a different approach to recruitment.

As such, Fetch is a very family oriented business.  We believe that if our recruiters have a good work-life balance, this will reflect in the service that they deliver for clients. This plays out in the quality of service that we provide.

Our team are not chained to their desks with their phone times being monitored. They are trusted to do what they are good at and because of this they go over and above. They all work from home and this means that we have good coverage across the UK as our team are spread out.

We created a commercial proposition that allows us to offer a far superior level of service to clients for much lower fees than our competitors. Everything that we do is about providing exceptional value and we think that we do this really well.
