In-House Recruiter - Not for profit / Charities - Crawley

CrawleyRepresenting Employee Resourcing at meetings to provide stakeholders establishment requirements, recruitment planning, shortfalls, analyse recruitment trends, highlight issues, provide feedback, fill training courses.

Manage selected vacancies in accordance with the Trust's Recruitment and Selection policy ensuring that recruitment targets are met in line with Trust objectives.

Control high volume recruitment campaigns ensuring that these are delivered within agreed timeframes.

Attend and actively participate in the weekly recruitment planning meeting. Provide monthly recruitment figures.

Effectively line manage an Assistant Resourcing Advisor (as required).

Liaise closely with the Trusts outsourced occupational health providers, ensuring that preprepreployment screening is coordinated and that the providers are managed accordingly in relation to day to day recruitment matters, escalating issues to the Resourcing Team Leader when required.

Coordinate high volume recruitment campaigns based on operational business needs.

Participate in interview panels and manage assessment centres for all grades of staff as required.

Administer the end to end recruitment process, including ensuring that all preprepreployment checks are completed prior to a candidate commencing employment in accordance with national NHSNHSNHSployment Check Standards.

Issue and ensure the return of signed contracts for new staff or those changing role.

Produce offer letters tailored to each appointment.

Coordinate the referencing for newly appointed staff (internal or external), ensuring at least 3 years work history is evidenced

Administer DBS (CDBSRBCRBCRBhecks at the appropriate level for the role, ensuring that entries are discussed fully with the Resourcing Team Leader and other senior staff as required and signed off through the necessary channels.

Check and verify professional registration, clinical qualifications and driving training (including driving licence and IHCD/EdIHCDexcel emEdexcelergency driving where required), ensuring that there is sufficient evidence that this has been completed in a new starters file.

Ensure that Identity checks are completed in accordance with NHSNHSNHStional guidelines.

Ensure that the Electronic Staff Records System (ESRESRESRs accurately maintained at all times

Maintain a working knowledge of the national NHSNHSNHSbs online system.

Coordinate and attend recruitment fairs to maintain a quality candidate

pipeline for the Trust.

Promote the Trust as an employer of choice including participating in equality and diversity related events (internally and externally).

Visit universities or colleges, delivering presentations where required.

Advise managers on candidate attraction, advertising and assessment methods using best practice.

Draft interview questions, role-plays and assessment material

Upload all documents related to an individual's recruitment onto the central electronic HR Document store.

Assist the Resourcing Team Leader with coaching and development of colleagues and act as a role model.

Deputise for the Resourcing Team Leader in their absence.

Attend relevant on-off site meetings as required, taking notes as necessary.
