I am delighted to be partnering exclusively with a global manufacturing company, helping them hire a Sales Training (Commercial Capability) Manager. Working directly with the Group Commercial Director, the individual will be expected to grow the sales effectiveness of the organisation.   This is a newly created role, based in central London, and shall work closely with HR and the wider learning team (3 across Europe) in helping to define and drive the agenda around sales training.  

The successful incumbent will be expected to get involved in the following:

  • Building out the sales curriculum
  • Content delivery
  • Drive capability assessments, both individually and branch-wide
  • Work international to embed the sales curriculum across the regions
  • Work on a new LMS that can carry the developed content

  In order to be considered, I am looking for the following skills/experience:

  • Experienced in developing and delivering sales contact ( 70:20:10 model, E-Learning, Video, face to face)
  • Experienced building competency frameworks
  • Experienced in managing LMS and content
  • Sales Training ( Field, Key Accounts, Telesales)
  • Performance Management experience
  • Ideally experienced in delivering on a European/global scale
  • Ideally experience working with Telesales/Call Centres
  • Technical selling/solution selling experience
  • European Languages advantageous
